This is long overdue, but yesterday the city council banned drive-throughs and gas stations in the entire Beltline overlay. This is a very large area of the city of Atlanta, as it includes everything within a half mile of the 22-mile loop. An ordinance which would remove minimum parking requirements has not yet been voted on.
