Did a bunch of planning for tadpole #trike project today that I've had bouncing around my head for awhile. It's essentially a no-weld version of the Warrior trike from atomiczombie.com with mostly salvaged parts. Main central beam out of used industrial aluminum extrusion, a NOS Xtracycle prototype fir the rear, seat from a scrapped recumbent, 15mm front hubs from mountainbike take-offs, rims from an old kids bike, rear hub motor and wheel from a 15yo A2B ebike, etc.

HOWEVER, even with 90+% of the trike project being salvaged materials and spare parts, the cost for just the ebike electronics (wires, controller, sensors, display, etc.) to rebuild and use the old motor is going to be over $600! 
Sigh, I guess this project is going back on that back burner
