The nepo baby your oligarch puts in charge will happily pay half your salary to Microsoft to get even most of your job done without you.
Wealth wants access to skill without giving the skilled access to wealth.
Do you think Microsoft will eventually alter Copilot Recall to send data home to their servers?

@gnomon Precisely! I also wonder how many Windows workspaces are hosted on Azure with unencrypted drives. No need to phone home with the data when the call is coming from inside the house, right?
@cargot_robbie @gnomon also nobdifference "encrypting the hard drive" if the keys need to be in Azure cloud at any point in time (and they need to be so the system can run)
