Google DocsStrong Towns PDX – Parking Day 2023For Parking Day 2023, Strong Towns PDX is teaming up with the Congress for the New Urbanism. We are planning a tactical urbanism intervention and public engagement and design exercises for the space. Strong Towns PDX will take the lead on the tactical urbanism.
We are planing to build temporary cross walks, bump outs, and pedestrian islands. We will need materials, time, and money. This is the current plan. If you have ideas for better techniques, please add to the last question or on Slack!

NE 70th and Glisan.
Dates
Parking Day: 9/15
Primary Installation: TBD. Either the night before, the very early morning on 9/15 or after the morning rush hour.
Pedestrian Refuge Build: TBD.
