20in bike wheels should cost less to build and ship than 26/27in ones and women should get paid just as well as men
If we're going to pay people to get an electric car, we should pay them far more to get no car at all. Let's make policy that doesn't land half of our tax money in the pockets of car salesmen.
Get in a meeting with your city councilor or county/metro/state legislator, and tell them climate policy needs to aim past electric cars, raise taxes on fossil fuels & road wear (fees scaled per vehicle weight), price congestion while boosting walk/bike/transit access, and let the market decide rather than try subsidizing a giant #EV as the only path to #decarbonize #transportation. Don't assume delivery means an e-van, assume #cargoBikes, #eBikes. Price the emissions or impact. #ClimateAction
