After taking a look at 's boundary data from , I found a few missing bits. I also see that my previous hack to fix a coastline had corrupted my local metadata.

I loaded up to fix the missing province names on some cantons. I thought I might have to wait for all the map data of Ecuador to download, but no! JOSM has a hidden expert mode that enables Overpass queries like "admin_level=6 in Ecuador", so I was able get just the data I wanted!
