Not going to post the graphic City of jaywalking ad. But will add to the egs where if the city were serious about they would take responsibility for improving safety of road design so you can cross safely where you need to

Last winter, my partner and I took OC Transpo to visit his parents in Orleans. This is the bus stop (in summer): A paved slab w no sidewalk. In winter the slab isn't cleared so we were dropped at the side of a busy, high speed road w 3' of snow.
