Breakthrough, or hype?

A rail company from #Poland is claiming it has done a test run of a lightweight magnetic levitation train that can run on conventional high-speed rails in Europe at speeds of up to 550 km/h.

Amazing if true—also amazing (!) that they seem to want to use it to transport freight. (Do we really need to get packages that fast?)
