Pass it on: #deleteyourtesla
And she shared it with two friends, and they shared it with four friends, and so on, and so on…
This is an excellent meme! Give me a hand: let’s make it go exponential.
@straphanger Delete your Tesla and burn your X-Account!
@straphanger eh tesla's logo looks much more like a dog's nose than hitler's mustache
@straphanger Can you explain to me, how exactly is the car manufacturing company contributing to Musks political actions?
The car company pays Musk handsomely and its share value forms much of his wealth.
Can you imagine Musk having the political influence he does if it weren’t for his considerable wealth?
@jachym @straphanger What ownership? Philosophy... Brand...Musk is synonymous for Tesla. Isn't it?
@Erdela @straphanger He owns 13% of the company. Now he is CEO, but I see no actions where the Tesla brand would be used against people (yet).
So yes, he worked hard to make the brand as "his" brand. But in reality this is IMHO different.
@jachym @straphanger That 's no matter how big stakeholder of Tesla he is. For many people he is Tesla and for too many people, who believed that he is prophet of new better green world, is unacceptable his management style and approach to people. With all his steps he shows his antisocial, self-centered face and the fact that he absolutely does not care about people. Zero empathy. And if he adds that the greatest weakness of humanity is altruism. That is disgusting.
I share your view on his personality. And I guess, conclusions of his steps on the society.
I just don't agree with the shortcut: "buying Tesla = you support Musk -> you are fascist"
@jachym @straphanger Ok, I understand. The shortcut are sometime too strong. But the drop in sales clearly shows what people think about it.
- by being part of his list of achievements he can point to
- by its value and the stock market value, particularly the Tesla stock he owns.
Is this a trick question? Do you really not know what Tesla is, who Musk is, how stocks work and what Musk's riches are?
@adriano @straphanger No tricks. I can not agree with the statement, that "Musk is Tesla" and what we are witnessing today: people are burning and devastating randomly parked cars as political statement.
Musk doesn't have his political power through the stock value of companies he partly owns (except for X maybe, therefore we are discussing the subject here), but through the current government, who gave it to him - no matter how high or low TSLA stock will be.
@jachym @adriano @straphanger "randomly parked" is quite disingenuous. These are specific targets, otherwise this conversation doesn't exist.
Also, he is in his DOGGE position because of his money and influence in politics. He bought a world leader. He's trying to buy more.
You disagree with violence. Say that, not untruths please. Let's be clear about how we disagree.
@xmacdonald @adriano @straphanger
Oh yes. I disagree with violence. And I'm questioning, if the violence targeted against customers and owners is really the move, which will make things change.
@jachym @adriano @straphanger his political power is entirely dependent on his wealth, which is entirely predicated on the Tesla stock price. If that falls far enough, the margin calls on his loans will bankrupt him and he'll be dropped like a stone. While I would never condone it, every burnt Tesla is a step in this direction
@cliffordheath @adriano @straphanger
That is a good point actually: His political influence may be partly caused by his wealth and Tesla is no doubt part of his financial success.
I say, every burned Tesla is a step into violent society. Do you like the idea of the world, when an act of disagreement is burning down other people property? You have plenty of other options.
You asked a simple question, you were given the answer.
That you refuse to accept the answer and instead seek to deny the truth behind Musk’s power, treating him as no more than a functionary within government, says much about you.
From a recent warning letter to investors by Dan Ives, managing director at the US financial firm Wedbush and a self-described Tesla “core bull”:
"Tesla is Musk and Musk is Tesla … they are synonymous and attached together and cannot be separated.”
@straphanger seems like it could also readily become a sticker for application to Tesla logos seen in the wild. Wonder the best way to make that happen?
@straphanger @davo2311 - en plus le posteur a un train dsxson pseudo
@straphanger What is spainflix?
@straphanger can I save and share this?
@sabrinaingermany You do you! (I got this from actor John Cusack on the birdsite...)
@straphanger That first image appears to be a "StarLink" fire alarm connection, which, if I understand correctly, is cellular and POTS, not related to MuskLink.
We have one, so I checked.
@straphanger Well, maybe don't use that image, the idiot who wrote the book likes to sue even if something looks similar. If this got any traction, prepare for a few lawsuits.
@straphanger Look I get your anger on the matter but there’s nothing we can do but vote. Elon also isn’t hitler despite his ties to facism in germany. I just feel like people think that making a stupid meme abt how Elon sucks is kind of pointless.
@straphanger #DeleteFascism and #DeleteTheRich would be the better short/long term option.
@straphanger im not much of a memer but i just made this one
