#TodaysWalk took me along the Penge Road which leads, in one direction, to #Penge. In the other direction, slightly more suprisingly, it leads to Goat House Bridge.

Sadly, Goat House Bridge has no house on it, nor any goats.

So here's a picture of the surviving length of the Croydon Canal, a slab of stagnant water that sits somewhere in Betts Park, taken from the deep end.

The lighting wasn't ideal for that, but the shallow end is fenced off and empty.
