Cassey Lottman<p>We got several inches of snow yesterday and more was still coming down on my drive to daycare. Cassey Lottman<p>Went on the loveliest evening ride last night with Queer Bike Club Ottawa. Giant moonrise over the Experimental Farm for the first bit to our meeting place, then gorgeous fall-colors-tree lined cycle paths, long bridges over the river, and a downtown skyline view at sunset and in the dark that I hadn’t yet seen from those angles. Cassey Lottman<p>I was pretty excited when we rolled up to our destination and saw this bike rack, but we ended up not actually using it for the bucket bike, and locked up instead at a smaller, more standard rack nearby. There’s a dip in the pavement right under the pedals (in picture) that made the kickstand not reach the ground, and with the bucket facing so it could be supported by leaning agains the rack, my u lock wouldn’t reach far enough! <br /><a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/CargoBike" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CargoBike</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/BikeOtt" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BikeOtt</span></a></p>
