Happy Birthday to one of my favorite Doctor's, the incomparable #PeterCapaldi. #DoctorWho
Dalek: `I liked Hartnell best...`
Another Dalek: `Troughton was my favorite...`
The Third Doctor: `Fellas, I`m right here!`

The Third Doctor: `Good grief, it`s a stegosaurus. Let me go pet it!`

For the last week, I’ve been eagerly awaiting release of a Blu-ray I’d preordered. Due tomorrow. I’ve been anticipating that it was Doctor Who Pertwee Series 1, but I just realized that’s not till June.
I really needed some good #DoctorWho in April 2025.
On a #DoctorWho note I see that in some quarters - in a similar vein to suggesting that Jodie Whitaker and Chibnall's who might be wiped out of continuity people are now speculating that Tennant/Gatwa/RTD2 might be wiped out of continuity...
Plus ça change...
They could never have done Lux in classic #DoctorWho because the Doctor and companion would have had a hell of a job climbing through the screen of a small 4:3 television.
The Pope dying is like Doctor Who regenerating, excited to see who they get to play the part next. Except instead of a cuddly time-lord committed to justice and fairness, it'll be some old tosser who hates LGBTQ people, but pretends it's only hate done in the name of love. So gaslighting too. On reflection its much more worrying than Doctor Who regenerating. #ThePope #DoctorWho
What are your thoughts on #DoctorWho Lux? I liked the episode a lot, much more than the season opener. Neat ideas, fast paced execution. Bit too much tears again from the Doctor but all around a good one. It just all feels a bit rushed, Belinda is now fully onboard with the Doctor after two episodes, that seemed a bit too quick, given how her character was introduced.
I'm not going to lie, but there is something a bit cute about the way this Ironsides, er, Dalek is looking up at Amy and responding to Amy's question.
One thing that I don't like about the Eleventh Doctor (and to be honest, anything from the Steven Moffatt era) are the long-winded speeches, lectures and proclamations.
I know the other Doctors have done the same in the past, but the delivery and how they were written in the Moffat era is a bit... grating.
Farewell Ten and salutations Eleven.
To be honest, I'm still not a huge fan of the Eleventh Doctor and probably ranks towards the bottom of the nu-Who Doctors (War Doctor didn't get enough time on-screen and is ranked at the bottom).
