I *love* that when I talk to the zergling about #trans people, #gay people, you name it, their response is always like I’m reiterating the fact that the sky is blue.

We’ll be watching a cartoon with a #transgender main character and I’ll say something about it and there’s just this “yes yes dad, I know all this, why are you telling me this obvious fact?”

I don’t pat myself on the back often but I feel like I did something right if #lgbtq rights are so obvious to them that they literally can’t wrap their head around why someone like #trump either wants to or is even able to take them away.

I’ve said this before but I think it bears repeating. It is *way* easier to explain #lgbtq people to a child than it is to explain #republicans. Explaining that someone feels comfortable in different ways or that some kids have parents who are the same sex, that was like a 10 second sentence and they got it. They still cannot understand the selfishness and utter hatred for others that the #nazi party has for people unlike them. *That* was the hard conversation to have.

@TomWellborn alt: Christian heterosexual text is modified by hand: Dear #Christians (said: #LGBT), If you don't want to be treated differently for being Christian (said: #gay), then stop acting like being Christian (said gay), somehow makes you special. Your religion (said sexual orientation) is neither an achievement nor a holiday. You have not accomplished anything simply by being a Christian (said: attracted to one sex or another (not well readable))
