suziew96finished knitting and washed merino wool bike shorts. I altered the Berroco Forsyth pattern to be more fitted, low waist, my fav oval elastic threaded thru eyelet holes, ribbed cuffs. Unfortunately I found out too late that the yarn Koigu Premium Merino has a superwash merino base which accounts for that kind of sticky texture. It didn’t say anywhere in the description of the yarn that it had a superwash base, I found out on the company website. So a learning lesson for me, research the yarn more carefully! mjI had an interesting realization recently about the way I knit. I am a flicker but it only occurred to me recently that my right needle doesn't really move. My right hand moves the yarn and my left needle does the rest. Anyone else do that? La VischIt turns out that the bottom edge of my Luminos Tee hits at an awkward spot, and curves in a bit due to tightness in the edge. They tend to be changes in colors or needle-size more than anything. Recently, I’ve attempted creating some of my own designs, which is mildly entertaining but hasn’t resulted in anything I want to make again, let alone try to sell (although my current <a href="https://episcodon.net/tags/YarnBomb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#YarnBomb</a> experiment might be the first)My spiritual life has gone through many iterations, as most people’s do. Today, I’d say the most significant modifications would be cultivating a discipline of using female pronouns to refer to the Holy Spirit & swapping out 3 traditional lines in the Lord’s Prayer (“forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us & lead us not into temptation”) for more contemporary language (“forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial”)
