"The consequences of psychosis, neurosis, personality disorders, psychosomatic disorders or depressive state of the Insured." </p><p>So even if I had made the trip, and then been unwell during it (I've had people non-consensually call ambulances on me in the past), I would've been left uninsured for that because my pre-existing condition of anxiety is an inconvience to their profit margins.</p>
Emelia 👸🏻<p>Remind me never to use <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/LastMinute" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LastMinute</span></a> again. I used them for my trip for FOSDEM, paid extra for cancellation, which I reasonably thought would cover the entire trip.</p><p>I later found out that their cancellation only covers the hotels, not the flights, even though you book both with them.</p><p>I paid for travel insurance, only to be told “because you had to cancel due to mental health reasons, you're not covered” — my anxiety spiked before my trip leading me to get sick.</p><p>tldr: never use LastMinute or Booking, because they're the same fucking shitty bottom feeders.</p>
