@LilahTovMoon similar for me, I wanted to go to the Doughnut shop that's walkable from my house & had it's grand opening during Passover but there's no way they're open today, so I'll go for my wedding anniversary instead soon. #Mazeldon #Judaism

I'm realizing that all the pizza places are closed for Easter and Passover is ending in a few hours
I can't end Passover with Dominos
If an organization posted a "happy Easter" message today but didn't post a "happy Passover" message* a week or so ago, is that better or worse than having posted a "happy Passover" message with an image that includes leavened breads and/or omits any of the usual Passover items?
* Never mind an "Eid mubarak" message or anything pertaining to any other non-Christian observances
HOT TAKE: Easter is zombie
Pesach. Don’t @ me. #mazeldon
It's very fun being the non-Jewish person in my found-family.
I get to buy chametz this time of year. Which can lead to fun text message exchanges :D
When I was cleaning out the freezer for #Passover I found a Ziploc of leftover chicken soup from _last_ Passover that we froze at the end of the holiday and never ate. So I took it out and defrosted it and I've been gradually eating it all week.
I just finished it for lunch today, and now I'm about to make a new pot of soup for #Shabbat.
It's the circle of (Jewish) life.

October 7th forever marks one of the most serious terrorist attacks in the Western world.
Israel remains hollowed-out between a relentless tension of grief and the reality of grappling with the wounds of recovery and survival.
The US it witness to an unleashing of antisemitism: violent anti-Israel riots on college campuses, bomb threats, physical attacks, and a fear of harm that requires an armed presence in synagogues.
Please join as we explore how to navigate the new reality of this collective trauma.

“The Gaza solidarity encampments that sprang up around the US in response to the one at Columbia represented the most successful voluntary collaboration between Muslim and Jewish students taking place anywhere in the world. If university administrations claimed it was necessary to destroy them in order to ‘keep the peace,’ this reveals what they mean by peace.”

Are you sick of matzoh yet?
Nothing separates Jew from goy quite like the phrase "Easter ham."
I make this joke every year because it's true every year.
Ending Zionist control of Jewish narratives is an antifascist imperative. I really appreciate this action and the depth of coverage here.

It's Tax Day. The stakes are high as Trump and Musk’s DOGE are firing thousands at the IRS, making it easier for the wealthy to cheat on their taxes and robbing us of revenue that could fund child care, education, health care, and more.
Meanwhile, Republican leaders in Congress are putting billionaires first in their budget blueprint by cutting critical basic needs programs like Medicaid and SNAP. And for what?
So they can pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
