Today I rushed onto the train down to Rutgers University to go to a student recital. I used the NJTransit trip planner and sprinted out of my rehearsal at school, and fortunately my train and bus connection were both exactly on time! #train #trains #bus #njtransit

And yes, I took the #NJTransit Newark #LightRail... I wanted to take a nice pic of train over #CherryBlossoms (Japanese style), but unfortunately the light rail mostly runs in cuttings, has few cherry blossom trees near the tracks (other than at Branch Brook Park station and north of Orange Street station), and has high fences...
I just learned for the first time today that #NJTransit busses accept tap to pay from cards. This happened because I almost bailed on a bus because the #MyTix Mobile app kept looping that it was "unavailable" so I assumed that without cash, no bus ride.
If they advertised this, then I clearly never got the message.
