ThomasMore than 40 years ago I read 1984. I'm reading it now, and I can see that Orwell was off by maybe 30 years from the point of view of technology - but he hadn't seen the possibility of an automated Thought Police coming. I guess that by 2044 we may be at the point where reality surpasses fiction.
