AlyveLes hommes qui n’aimaient pas les femmes (Millénium tome 1, 2005)Je me suis prise une claque, de A à Z. D’habitude j'évite des auteurs masculins mais Maxime Chattam les a un peu réhabilités. Du coup j'ai (enfin) lu le premier tome de Millénium et je me suis prise une tatane dans la tetè. Le style d’écriture est fabuleux − bien que j’ai senti une différence tout à la fin du livre. Ça raconte comment un journaliste jugé coupable de diffamation par la justice Suédoise se fait engagé par un vieil industriel sur la disparition de sa nièce 30 ans auparavant avec le prétexte d’écrire les chroniques familiales de la famille Vanger. Lorsqu’on commence une nouvelle partie du bouquin, des statistiques sur les violences sexistes et sexuelles. Par exemple : « En Suède, 46 % des femmes ont été exposées à la violence d’un homme. ». Ça donne le ton.Une enquête absolument incroyable avec des personnages magistraux, des personnalités complètes et complexes, un thriller à couper le souffle, vraiment.
