The Peter Pan of Nerdery™ 🇦🇺<p>Deleted <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CotEditor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CotEditor</span></a>. Don't have the space available for shit I'll never use, as good an app as it was. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/mac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mac</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/freeware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>freeware</span></a></p><p>Edit: <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SublimeText" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SublimeText</span></a> is still the best editor for Mac and Windows AFAIC.</p>
The Peter Pan of Nerdery™ 🇦🇺<p>Switched from <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CotEditor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CotEditor</span></a> to <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SublimeText" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SublimeText</span></a>. Been meaning to for a while. CotEditor is really, really nice - BUT I'm sorry, when I press PGDN I want the CURSOR to move. I don't want to affect only the document location/scrolling but leave the cursor where it is. That's not what PGDN means. Move cursor. Don't leave cursor where is. Sublime Text seems to understand that.</p><p>I couldn't find where in MacOS to fix this, neither in karabiner nor kb settings nor CotEditor settings.</p>

Still have not found a "good" Editor for Linux. Kate is qt and geany is a bit old. vscode is well ... not mine</p>
