Frustrating af part is she clearly has an axe to grind with physics / academia and so do I. </p><p>It's possible I might have *more* reason to feel spurned unjustly, since mine is "systemic ableism led to late diagnosis, but I didn't get even the minimal support I was offered and accepted".</p><p>But I still stick to my vision of a better life for everyone I can help because that's... the only thing worth doing?</p><p>beep. </p><p>Semi-related: I need to do a basic layperson's guide to science set of videos. Mx Verda<p>It sounds like Sabine Hossenfelder is inaccurately diagnosing (some) real problems (and some false ones) as being scientists' fault directly. <br>The problems are a capitalist (profit-focused) failure of resource allocation. This includes a structure of education that incentivises "work-ready" skills over critical analysis. <br>You don't need to be an expert!
