The naturally moist environment helps to lower impacts of wildfires & other natural disasters that have increased as our governments continue to fund & enable more ecocidal projects.

The evergreen oaks of Southern California have been a favorite photography subject of mine for a long time. This beautiful specimen is a Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) at Hollenbeck Canyon near Jamul in San Diego County.
