Stephen Sekula<p>Well, lookie there: the <a href="https://mastodon.cooleysekula.net/tags/ATLAS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ATLAS</span></a> experiment that I worked on from 2009-2022 won a share in this year's <a href="https://mastodon.cooleysekula.net/tags/BreakthroughPrize" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BreakthroughPrize</span></a>! Congratulations to all my colleagues who remain active on the experiment!</p><p>I am proud of my contributions to the measurement of the Highs boson's quantum numbers in 2013 and the first direct observation of its interaction with the bottom quark in 2018. </p><p>I am even prouder of my pivot to <a href="https://mastodon.cooleysekula.net/tags/UndergroundScience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UndergroundScience</span></a> and all the discoveries yet to be made. </p><p><a href="https://breakthroughprize.org/News/91" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">breakthroughprize.org/News/91</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
