Ok, laut deutschsprachiger #Wikipedia ist #StefanGelbhaar Mitglied des #Bundestag. Derselbe Artikel sagt aber auch, dass er im März (nach der Bundestagswahl) auf Schadensersatz geklagt hat (weil er von der Kandidatur ausgeschlossen wurde).
Es ließe sich einwenden, dass der alte Bundestag noch bis Ende März fortbestand. Inzwischen haben wir aber seit einer Woche April.
Der Artikel ist also nicht aktuell.
Wie kommts? Es machen einfach zu wenige bei Wikipedia mit.
Leute: schreibt mit bei Wikipedia. Es ist wichtig.
“Protest” as a Wikipedia Topic for Public Interest
After the protests this weekend, I wondered if there had been a surge in public interest in the general Wikipedia topic of "protest." So I plugged it into Wikipedia Seismograph to find out. Oh yes, there absolutely was. This also gave me a chance to test Wikipedia Attention Surfer to see what other topics were "vibing" with Protest, in terms of similar public interest.

@futurebird share the experience editing the Hebrew #Wikipedia. Anything on #Palestine and the occupation, Israel’s war crimes, Zionist and Palestinians historiography and, on the other hand, #lgbtq is in the hands of right wing editors, many of which are settlers, with bureaucrats tacit support. It was disgusting.
I didn't start any new #wikipedia articles in the past week--but I have "destubbed" fifteen biographical articles about women, for the European Destubathon, happening all this month: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Europe/The_European_Destubathon Destubbing is a great way to improve wikipedia, because the articles are already in place, so you can skip the setting up part and get right to the fun. (Well, it's fun for me. YMMV) Good to do while I'm waiting for my @_newspapers access to be restored, it lapsed this weekend.
This is quite a bit of original work for Wikipedia. Look at the length of the source list!
Art, really. But it would be a whole lot more useful if it was available as geospatial data or failing that, as an editable vector graphic.
Some of the sources used are also rather old, the 1970s was… a while ago when it comes to vegetation.

@EdwinG Cette personne explique son raisonnement ? Car à ma connaissance il n'y a pas de vague de blocage de sites aux USA depuis le retour de Trump. Depuis l'activation du HTTPS, quasiment aucun pays dans le monde n'assume de bloquer l'encyclopédie. Même le résumé de 4 phrases rapporte des choses sans doute erronées : "En France et aux États-Unis, des poursuites judiciaires [...] se sont multipliées au cours des derniers mois". #Wikipedia

I believe you and that poster are mistaken here, #Wikipedia is not countering that "infiltration" at all. On the contrary, the project page says, loud and clear:
»The purpose of this project is not to restrict or ban the use of AI in articles, but to verify that its output is acceptable and constructive, and to fix or remove it otherwise. «
So they're actually welcoming "#AI" and believe they can moderate it's BS output away – in addition to their existing workload.
This is unfortunate, to say the least.
