Positive thinking, xkcd style.
@ScienceDesk @ScienceAlert It's not about the one in the past, but a future after the strait closed and the Mediterranean Sea evaporated. Then the flood comes. There's an #XKCD for that. https://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/1190:_Time
How much of the "wires" that we have wrapped the Earth in is actually fibre-optics, though?
Randall is a bad man
today I learned
on default setup ch0 sets position to be within 2.9km, it must be manually changed. My solution was to create a ch1 named sheepWatch with location set on the base station and node settings shared to the other devices. it's working again and precise to 3 meters.
Firmware version 1.1 was just fine, new device required new firmware which turned into a domino effect of upgrading nodes.
old lesson: every update breaks something, ref #xkcd 1172
thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks for the link, I got it from Reddit, where the link was not posted, only that it is from XKCD, so I only put in a #xkcd hashtag.
It's crazy how normal we think it is, that twice in a day (early morning, still sleepy, and after work, already tired) half the population gets into and controls heavy machinery that kills hundreds of thousands of people every year.
EDIT: Typo

Well played Randall, well played.
