"Down there, I feel like I could go crazy. Desperate tieflings, bigoted druids, bloodthirsty goblins, the insufferable gith… But up here, it all goes away. Even if just for a few moments."

"It is… quiet. There was much silence in the Shadowfell, but never like this. And never this bright. I had a favourite garden, once."

"Where?"

"… I don't remember."

Forest thru the Trees Problem. It hits me almost every time I touch technology. Most recently I wanted to help squeeze more power out of my partners PC he uses for #BG3. So I disconnected everything and blew all the heat sinks clean and fans, then plugged it all back. Then he went to use his system and Windows audio for system sounds worked fine, but not #Chrome, #Edge, or #VLC. Struggling with Windows shittastic audio controls didn’t help. It made no sense. I've been playing #BG3 since Feburary 29th last year. I started my first playthrough the day I crashed my truck.

Still on my first play thru (Durge drow bar-bear-ian but resisting ) and yesterday I got to the battle with Rafael.

First time success in the battle OH YEAH.

Time for a #BG3 update:
- Cumulative playtime: 2211 hours
- Completed playthroughs: 11
- Active campaigns: 5 (and I might actually finish one of them next)
- Achievements: 47/54

#BG3MyLittlePaladinRun was my first proper solo playthrough. Still on Balanced, without any Illithid powers. I also skipped some of the side quests that weren't in any way necessary, so the whole thing took me approximately 84 hours*, and I played it through in three weeks.

One of my goals was to romance Wyll, because in all the previous playthroughs I just hadn't managed to do that - not even with Karlach, because I apparently chose wrong dialogue options in Act 1. This time it happened, even when I was worried for a moment in Act 3 that I had once again missed the window.

Another goal was to not break my oath, and I managed to do that, too. There was one incident when I did break it, but that was just plain stupidity from my part, so I save scummed in order to do that fight in a different way.

* The epilogue started around 83.5 hours, but I got to the end credits around 85 hours, because I ended up tinkering with the photo mode 😂
