After several job moves, my current commute along the same corridor is 6 miles in 30 minutes, with about 7 minutes stuck at red lights! On one hand, very consistent. On the other hand, not longer from increased bicycle traffic. I usually bike to work, and it usually takes me about 15 minutes. I can get it down to 11 if I ride faster and get lucky with traffic lights. Sometimes I take the VTA bus and it takes 20 minutes because I want to get to the stop a few minutes early, and the bus gets stuck in traffic. I’ve walked a couple times, and it took about 50 minutes.</p>

The City of Kitchener has a wonderful bike valet service that they set up at various festivals and other events around the city. I've heard good things about pot / soaking style application. But I absolutely do not recommend drip on wax like white lightning and... (I Forget). I use the liquid wax aka drip wax.</p><p>The initial cleaning to remove the product put by the manufacturer is a pain but after than, reapplying is easy. Few ebikes need more than 0.5-1kWh battery, so saving even 20% on $200-300 battery isn&#39;t that significant vs any added weight.</p>
