Some days we wake to find a silverfish (sølvkre) on our bathroom floor. Our neighbours have the same and asked the board if they could do something to get rid of them.

According to FHI they aren't really a problem unless it's out of control and they're eating your antique books and stamp collection. 😅

They're cool little insects though. Fast movers, shiny silver, fluid movements.

Shit! I just realized the cause! Mounting microcontrollers that use the UF2 format for loading firmware.

I think there was a macOS bug a few years ago around this issue.

I user Raspberry Pi Pico boards at home and micro:bit boards at work. Both mount in the Finder.

The Finder got locked up and I was able to relaunch it only *after* I unplugged a Pico.

Well, now I know what to look for.

미래의 진딧물 킬러들. 겨울동안 풀을 많이 키워서 무당벌레 성충이랑 약충, 번데기가 다 있다.
Ladybugs, they are everywhere in my garden! They will help me controlling aphids.

Canon had a good app for Android called Camera Connect - to download images to the computer and connect to the camera. However, it was full of bugs, errors, slowness, imperfections, and insane battery consumption.

Today the app was updated, and I had a naive thought: "Updated, fixed, improved!" Sure. Now they have, in addition to everything that already didn't work, added mandatory login via CanonID. And registration is not possible - the page, probably written by the same clumsy development team, consistently goes to a 403 error.

I hate corporations.
