i want to digitize some old #analog cassette tapes with my m1 macbook pro. I tried plugging the cassette player's aux cable into the laptop's headphone jack, but it wont detect the signal.

i don't know much about #mac or #audio #music recording. is there anyone out there who can explain what i'm doing wrong or point me to the adapter I need? : preferably not amazon

Before I closed #GPT I asked it:

What would "The holy grail of the climate-change religion" look like, do you think?

In the foreground, floating magically upright in a rough ocean is a wooden cup the size of a city block. The cup is designed to look like a tree of life, and looks somewhat 3D printed. The circular base of the twisted stem is covered in grass, and around the edge of the base are many solar panels, presumably the size of large houses.

For some reason the cup is full of what looks like Uranium juice, it is green and florescent and is radiating visible rays upwards to the sky.

In the background of the picture, there are some large wind turbine masts and props, dwarfed by the giant, floating, radioactive holy--grail of the climate-change religion.
