Trodde att man gjorde insulin från grispancreas, tror det var så man började iaf. Så överhörde jag en föreläsning min dotter tittade på. Tydligen kan man mippla m DNAt i ecolibakterier o få dem at producera insulin. Typ så förstod jag det, får läsa på. Men ändå. Magi!

Most of us know that our traits can be inherited by DNA, but scientists have now found amyloid structures can have inheritable traits. Amyloid is normally associated with Alzheimers. Amyloids are extra proteins and have been found to contain structures that are able to replicate like that of DNA. One theory suggests that this may help to predict diseases that are not able to be predicted by DNA alone. popularmechanics.com/science/h

In 2006 a group of ancient graves were unearthed in Yeongdong-ri, Naju in the southwest of #Korea. One of the graves, a set of multigenerational 5th- to 6th-century burial chambers holding a family, yielded nine extremely well-preserved human skeletons. #DNA sequencing revealed shared mitochondrial heritage between the jointly-buried bodies, indicating a matrilineal family structure. The remains were also more closely related to humans in modern Kyushu, #Japan than modern Korean or older Japanese populations, hinting at exchanges and movement between the Naju and Kyushu regions. #history #archaeology
