Gareth<p>There’s some Doctor Who stories I don’t really like, of the classic series only The Gunfighters do I find practically unwatchable. </p><p>The most recent episode “Lucky Day”, I really disliked. I come to Doctor Who, and science fiction for a bit of escapism, a bit of fun and strange new worlds, and new insights into our world told through a sci-fi lens.</p><p>I didn’t need to be reminded of the shit show that is social media, nor the anti-vaxers, flat earthers and everything else in that realm. </p><p>I did like Kate Stewart’s presence in the episode, and it was almost Janeway against the Equinox sort of hardcore moment at the end. And the exploration of companions with PTSD and the effects of travel with the Doctor having on them. <a href="https://aus.social/tags/DoctorWho" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoctorWho</span></a></p>
