RAMMSTEIN's CHRISTOPH SCHNEIDER Explains Why His Drumming Style Became 'More Simple' Over The Years
#introduction time. Hey, I'm Warden. I'm part of a #plural system, figuring out what cool shit I want to do. I'm interested in #drawing and #drumming, as well as enjoying #biking.
I'll probably do more of these when I figure more shit out, but that's what having this account is for. Toodles.
And here's another one:
Some people have asked me recently about my drumming since I don’t really post anything about it. So, I thought I’d share a couple of videos from the last band I played with, an instrumental band called Spectre based in Munich, Germany. The songs are all original.

"Chop Suey!" is a brilliantly fun song to play on drums. I hacked my way through the song when it first came out, and my crappy little band had so much fun using it as a warm up to practice sessions.
Here's a weird #drumming fascination for the day -- #thursdeath drummers who effortlessly switch from 16th to 32nd notes on the bass drums.
Something I could never do when I was still drumming, but it sounds epic. I mostly played singles and couldn't master heel-toe before moving onto other pursuits.
IOTUNN's 'Kinship Elegiac' is a good example of that.
*Hoarder victory dance!* I bought this curved cymbal stand arm several years ago, honestly not having a particular need for it, but enticed by the novelty, and it was on closeout—presumably not a big seller. Today I was trying to figure out how to mount a crash on the far side of my rack tom without adding a whole new stand, and a memory lightbulb lit up! It’s perfect.

This is absolutely horrible.
RIP to one of my drumming heroes.
I’ve really enjoyed working with @ology on his toolkit for scoring #MIDI #drumming, MIDI-Drummer-Tiny. He’s patiently answered my questions and had the grace to accept my pull requests, most of which haven’t so much added new features as they’ve helped clarify how to use the library successfully.
Gene has helped me get back into the swing of #Perl #programming after months of inactivity, and I’m looking forward to working with him more in the future. I couldn’t have asked for a better collaborator.
@buffyleigh Great tune, and such clean snare #drumming!
My first public gig as a musician was at David Bowie's Beckenham Arts Lab. From then on, my musical career was downhill all the way.
Luca Mancini is a drummer posting videos of drum recording sessions on prog/alt metal songs, available as both full versions and isolated drum versions. You can follow at:
There are already over 20 videos uploaded, if these haven't federated to your server yet you can browse them all at https://makertube.net/a/luca_mancini/videos

This was, indeed, epic. Different to Yamato in a number of entertaining ways; the first piece after the intermission only needed a 303 to make it techno. However, there was a recorded 4:4 beat used in a few songs towards the end that kind of stuck in my craw. Like, how couldn't they provide their own? But all in all another great night of live drumming.

Or maybe I will need to travel for work. In this case I will probably watch a drumming video instead.
Since I won't be able to show you any interesting stuff, I will just do status updates every few days.
Good luck everyone participating in #The100DayProject! (2/2)
Just had a fellow drummer tell me that he really liked my playing.
Fuck it ya'll, it's a good day.
