It's the first time you can see what data the apps are accessing. This includes the OS used, the complete hardware, other apps, and of course, contact information. The affected apps are now all being replaced. One smartphone already runs <a href="https://lemmy.ml/c/lineageos" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@lineageos</a>, and the others are being switched over as well. Yes, it's true. Sometimes you need an app from the Play Store.
