Koto Sushi in Jewelers Row District in Philadelphia, PA. When we got there sometime in early February, they still had their Christmas tree up in the restaurant, but I wasn't complaining. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. Their food was pretty good, their gyudon was probably one of the best we've had at a take-out restaurant, I highly recommend it.

The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar in North Hills, Raleigh, NC. An Asian Fusion restaurant that is known in the area not only by their interesting interior design, and funny artworks hanging on their walls, but for their "Burgerushi" which is a burger reimagined as a sushi, which is the fifth photo in this set. Probably the best cake I've ever had in my life is at a place called Maxie B's in Greensboro, NC, their cakes are always very flavorful and moist, and they rotate their selection quite often so it never gets old. I've been willing to wait in their long lines that goes out the door! However on this particular day, I went during the weekday so there was hardly anyone there. My wife first introduced me to this place in 2014 and I always make the trip there a few times a year! Shot in December 2024.
