The text of the #enemy #aliens Act - 50 US Code Sec 21 - #Restraint, #Regulation and #Removal Whenever there is a declared war between the United States and any foreign nation or government, or any invasion or predatory incursion is perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States by any foreign nation or government, and the President makes public proclamation of the event, all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being of the age of fourteen years and upward, who shall be within the United States and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured, and removed as alien enemies. The President is authorized in any such event, by his proclamation thereof, or other public act, to direct the conduct to be observed on the part of the United States, toward the aliens who become so liable; the manner and degree of the restraint to which they shall be subject and in what cases, and upon what security their residence shall be permitted, and to provide for the removal of those who, not being permitted to reside within the United States, refuse or neglect to depart therefrom; and to establish any other regulations which are found necessary in the premises and for the public safety.

What the heck are you talking about?

Voting federally in Canada is a very simple process, and doesn't take much time. You cast one vote for one office. Of course it's done by hand. It's trivial to count the votes afterwards. Even the biggest polling stations can count their votes in an hour or two.

Other than the line to get to where you get your ballot, it generally only takes a couple of minutes to vote. Yes, it'll be longer if you're not registered to vote, as they have to verify you, but otherwise it's quick.

It has been this way as long as I've been voting, which is more than 3 decades.

This post stinks of disinformation, trying to dissuade people from voting. Why? Who are you? Who are you working for?

In recent weeks & days, the #Trump admin began a review of $9B in federal contracts & grants to #Harvard; called for restrictions including a #MaskBan & *#DEI* removal; threatened to strip Harvard of its #TaxExempt status; & demanded info on some #visa holders at Harvard w/ a threat to take away its ability to enroll #foreign #students.
Harvard on Monday rejected numerous demands that it said would cede control to the govt. The Trump admin subsequently said it was freezing $2.3B in funding.
