We also tried makgeolli and it was a big hit. S1 was confusing, with many time jumps but I reread the book before S2was released and then watched it all in sequence. It’s quite well done. Not a typical <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/kdrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kdrama</span></a> but it was a foreign collaboration, as far as I know. It’s an important part of Korean history. The musical intro to S1 is the best introduction ever.</p>

However, the chemistry between the leads is something else. Sadly, since I’m watching it on Korean Netflix, my only choice of subtitles is Korean.
