Hey, #LA people. I'm at the point where I'm seriously considering ripping out my nonfunctional #RooftopSolar and giving up. It was installed five years ago by #Treeium and has never, ever worked. I gave up on them after years of being repeatedly ghosted, gaslit and screwed over.

Five years and multiple solar technicians later, we're out of options. It still doesn't work. Our power bills go *up* every month.

As a #SFGiants fan I was pleased immensely to learn that the #Cubs beat the #Dodgers playing away yesterday 16-0 in #LA. !!!! 👏👏👏👏👏

But the really interesting thing about this beating of the #Bums was how it happened.

When you look at the box score, you'll see that Sasaki, pitching for LA, only gave up 1 run in 5 innings & that the Cubs scored all 15 of their 16 runs in the 6th thru the 9th and 14 of them in the 7th thru the 9th off of the Dodgers' relief pitchers.

What does this tell us???

That the Dodgers have some great starting pitching but that their relief staff s*cks & that if the Giants can get past the starting rotation, they have a chance to comeback & win any game vs the Dodgers.

Go Giants!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

After the recent California fires, the Army Corps of Engineers caused an uproar with the early mismarking of trees as hazardous. Residents and professional arborists responded, the Corps listened, and collaboration is now leading to new growth. #LA #fires #Wildfires

The Christian Science Monitor · A tree grows in Altadena: LA community tries to save its fire-damaged canopyBy Francine Kiefer

My favorite random LA / music story is: the first time I went to LA, I stayed in the back of someone’s house. No idea who they were; never saw them (only chatted with the spouse).

Then music started playing.. live..

I was like hang on I know that song! Sounds so much like.. Supertramp?

Turns out, I was staying in the Supertramp pianist’s home. Maybe that’s why I love LA so much. It has all of the things I love (music, art, the best food from places I care about). Also things I don’t (cars) but
