I don't know if the #Republicans understand how strong China's propaganda is. Their economy may be failing, and military not as advanced, human rights lagging, but Propaganda is the ENTIRE name of the game in China. Their people think they are #1 in everything…. Just like #MAGA thinks the US is.

Never considered this. The #Trump shakedown of legal firms for pro bono work isn't about the money. It's at least partially about forcing lawyers who have plenty of other opportunities to get paid and explore interesting issues, forcing them to take cases based on crackpot #MAGA legal theories that they'd otherwise never argue for. And maybe you could pay a decent lawyer to support, but you'd have to pay them a lot more and they'd be risking their reputation.
