I don't remember what the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/tariff" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tariff</span></a> on Bangladesh was but 96% rings a bell for Vietnam. Old Navy, like most retailers in their space, has something like 7-10% margin. Prices here will effectively double leaving <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/lowincome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lowincome</span></a> & <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/middleincome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>middleincome</span></a> folks in a pinch and Old Navy and similar companies in trouble.
