Or act 3 scene 4, Damis at the start of the scene, or later in it. </p><p>Or more current, maybe the Franck Lazarev monologue from the film "Ad Vitam” where he is speaking to Léo over the phone, urging her to stay strong for their child’s sake. Not sure if it is a perfect age range for you. It is short and might need a couple interjecting lines from others cut out but maybe could work. </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/acting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>acting</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/monologue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>monologue</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/French" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>French</span></a></p>

C.<p>I think it had a cast of only 3 or 4 performers. They were using actual <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Shakespeare" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Shakespeare</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/dialogue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dialogue</span></a>; it wasn't written in modern English or anything like that. I don't remember a lot about the performance other than what I'm about to relate. Either it wasn't that memorable, or this bit was simply burned into my brain and left no room for anything else.</p><p>Lady MacBeth was played by a young woman - probably not older than 18 - and the others were young as well. Lady MacBeth performed one of her monologues in an ... <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/unusual" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>unusual</span></a> fashion.</p><p>While she was <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/monologuing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>monologuing</span></a>, she and MacBeth were, to put not too fine a point on it, dry-humping. Doggy-style. So fully <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/clothed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>clothed</span></a>, but doing the, uh, motion of the real thing. Lady MacBeth was leaning forward over a chair, facing directly out into the <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/audience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>audience</span></a>, while MacBeth was behind her, hands on her hips, <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/thrusting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>thrusting</span></a> away <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/rhythmically" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rhythmically</span></a> through her whole <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/speech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>speech</span></a>.</p><p>He wasn't just faking, so her lines were interrupted every couple of seconds with a <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/slapping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>slapping</span></a> sound and a hitch in her voice. I don't remember which soliloquy it was, but it would have gone something like:</p><p>We fail! (slap)<br>But screw your courage (slap) to the sticking-place (slap),<br>And we'll not fail (slap). When Duncan is asleep (slap) -<br>Whereto the rather (slap) shall his day's hard journey (slap) ...</p><p>But they were playing it deadly serious. </p><p>2/3</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/DryHump" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DryHump</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/DryHumping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DryHumping</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/DoggyStyle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoggyStyle</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/monologue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>monologue</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/performance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>performance</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/laugh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>laugh</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/laughing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>laughing</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/slap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>slap</span></a></p>
