No matter how hard I try, I can't go fully plastic free.
Since #France doesn't #recycle many of the single use plastic items like bags or wrapping material, I push them hard into a milk bottle before dropping it into recycle bin.

I buy organic food and stuff online from La Fourche[0]. They try to avoid plastic packaging - the packs of 3kg of flour or oats, 1kg of pulses, 1kg pasta, etc, come in paper bags. Glass jars are returnable for re-use.
Until recently the goods were delivered in cardboard boxes with paper padding. Now they come in heavy-duty paper bags which are also returnable!

De dame met de prikstok ( 'ik krijg elk jaar een bloemetje van de gemeente als officiële vrijwilliger') prikte helaas toch aardig wat plastic.
En dikke kans dat de kostuums die ik voorbij zag fietsen en lopen zwaar synthetisch waren. Zweten voordat t feestje start.
In de hoop op 100% duurzaam Carnaval volgend jaar. Zodat het feestje voor alle levende wezens en Moeder Natuur een frisse smaak houdt.
