London Ontario Canada<p>RT @TiernanMurphy8: @maritstiles is correct, privatized healthcare is inflationary as the extra layer of profit is added. Medicare for all in the US would be a significantly deflationary event.<br /><a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/onhealth" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>onhealth</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/onpoli" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>onpoli</span></a> <a href="https://t.co/SmQemiiVz2" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">t.co/SmQemiiVz2</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>

I understand the reason from both a care and business perspective but the reality is for any kind of urgent care need, ease of access is probably the deciding factor.</p><p>For sure, this will push more patients away from having access to a GP and into clinics and ERs. For sure this will lead to (further) privatization and class-based tiered access to <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/HealthCare" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HealthCare</span></a> in <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Ontario" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Ontario</span></a>. <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/ONhealth" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ONhealth</span></a></p>
