He was the youngest, with four older sisters, the oldest being my great-grandmother. No family stories were shared about how he was treated by his sisters, leading me to suspect that they were not very kind to their little brother. The family moved to their Oklahoma homestead after the 1893 land rush. Archie became a farmer and married Glenn Vesta Purvines.
