Urgent #MutualAidRequest to help a disabled trans couple stay safe

Good morning. Right now we're only $20 away from covering another night of safety and security. We're really trying to avoid having to use any of the funds we've raised so far from our fundrazr to help get our RV fixed.

Until we can get the RV into a mechanic and the engine worked on (ICYMI: we keep having issues with stalling out while driving), we are stuck in South Dakota as a disabled trans couple.

We have approximately two hours (by 11am MST) to raise that $20 and secure another night.

We were able to add another night thanks to the donations we got so far. @LukeOrion and I are still trying to raise the remaining amount of our goal. If we can do that by tomorrow morning then we would be able to book two more nights instead of one.

Thankfully we should be able to get food today thanks to what we had leftover from the donations and Luke getting a digital art commission. Their commissions are still open, and it helps us as much as direct donations (more info: indiepocalypse.social/@LukeOri)

It's almost 10pm local time and we've only raised $25 of what we need. We need to raise at least $53 in the next 12 hours to be able to book at least one more night of security.

That's not even accounting for the fact that the only meal we have for tomorrow is breakfast. We still need to be able to get food, but being able to stay another night to be able to stay safe and secure as two disabled trans people stuck in South Dakota is the main priority.

Hello. My partner @LukeOrion and I are a couple of disabled trans artists/musicians who recently escaped homelessness. Unfortunately we have been running into mechanical problems with our RV that has made getting back on our feet difficult.

We are trying to raise $200 (by tomorrow 11am MST the latest) to be able to cover booking two more nights at the RV park and being able to get us food so we can stay fed over the next couple days. Because of the engine issues, it’s not safe for us to travel long distances until we can get into a mechanic (more information is in our fundrazr) and because we’re stuck in South Dakota right now specifically, it’s not a safe place for us to try and get by crashing in parking lots. We also don’t have a working generator on our RV and staying at the RV park gives us access to electricity and the ability to be productive.
