I was thinking about how I usually forget that I live in a beautiful city and start noticing all the flaws of the city instead, this is a particularly boring corner, that pet owner needs to put that dog on a diet, these are sort of ugly trees on this street. 😆

I sometimes remember to find the magic in every place, we are in a universe that we didn't think up and didn't ask to be in, we're just here, like this farmhouse near a magic mountain.

there is a ramshackle cluster of buildings and trees in the foreground, and beyond is a steep valley between rocky mountains receding into the distance. The buildings seem like they were built by the people that live in them with material that was close at hand, they are thoroughly weathered, one barn seems on the verge of collapse, but there is a sense of loving attention and beauty

So I went to Berlin last night to see The Wombats and they played this song. And when I hear #lemons, I think back to this wonderful little piece of art that decorates an old door in #Collobrières. I don't know if it was meant to have this #texture or if the 3-D design is due to decades of paint, but I love it. 😊
