I guess Trump's rhetoric on tariffs did create a surge in buying. (I know it did for me on a personal level. I'm not a reseller, though.) The impact on "empty shelves" may not be felt right away. What’s really going on with shipping? You might have read that the ports are empty and no more ships will be arriving after such-n-such a date.
I gotta tell ya, there’s more than a smidge of bullshit in those posts. I’m not saying shortages won’t happen. I’m not saying corporations won’t be price gouging as much as they can.
It does look like the number of ships and how much is loaded on them is *down*.
