Frantic 🇬🇧 + 🇪🇺<p>I'm getting more disillusioned by <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Labour" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Labour</span></a> on an almost daily basis. I've never been a member but have consistently voted for them, I was a paying supporter during Corbyn's leadership.<br>Realistically though with our FPTP electoral system not voting Labour in my *constituency would be a vote for the <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Conservative" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Conservative</span></a> or <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/UKreform" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UKreform</span></a> parties both of which I totally abhor. On the left I like the Green Party but their local support is woefully poor. I also like a lot of what the <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/SNP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SNP</span></a> stands for but they're not on an option South of the border.<br>All of which makes Labour my least worst option under FPTP.<br>I suppose that a transferable vote might be a solution but the different variants are a minefield.</p><p>Does anyone else have a similar quandary? Wen<p>Businesses back SNP for growth </p><p>Colour me amazed. The Times reports something vaguely positive about the Scottish government. Although I suspect this was simply necessary to critique <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Starmer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Starmer</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Sarwar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sarwar</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Labour" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Labour</span></a>.</p><p>Having said that, businesses that favour ‘Reform’ as a party for growth are either deluded or taking the piss.
