Immer, wenn ich zu mehrtägigen Veranstaltungen muss, stelle ich fest, wie ich einfach nicht ins Gefüge passe.

Nur, dass es mir mit jedem Mal ein bisschen weniger peinlich ist. Kann es eh nicht ändern.

Alle essen Kuchen - ich möchte lieber Fotos von den Spinnenweben in der blauen Lampe machen.

Der Unterschied zu sonst ist - heute tu ich's auch.

Fore and Aft.

The Spider Web Galaxies.

One of the more complex spiders (plural) webs that I've seen. Five or more multi-line anchor points to the plants on either side allow the whole arrangement to flex in the wind without breaking.

Several webs are built in and around the centre; the angled disks reminds me of the spiral galaxies in Hubble photos.

Escheresque Webbing.

No spiders in sight.

I was surprised this morning to find several square metres of web carpet on the grass. I can only conclude that there was a very large number of small spiders that worked through the night to create it.
