So möchte doch jeder gerne derbe beleidigt werden.
Das Wasserproblem muss man konkretisieren zu "Süß"wasser.
Schon an Küstengebieten wird das Meer immer da sein, auch wenn durch fehlenden Regen Flüsse und Seen austrocknen.
Deshalb wird versucht, z.B. Kartoffeln zu züchten, die man mit Salzwasser bewässern kann oder gleich auch salzliebende Pflanzen umsteigen.
Damit kommt aber kein Tropfen Wasser auf die Alm, gefriert zu Gletschereis, geschweige denn zu Bodensee oder Rhein zu werden.
Bei der Rumgeschwurbelei frage ich mich dann immer, was das helfen soll?
So eine Mad Max Dystopie zu schaffen, wo Endzeitmenschen mit Verbrenner durch die Wüste fahren. Das ist doch kein Ziel. Und dann sollte auch das Geschäft mit Öl nicht mehr laufen.
Auch als Wirtschafts-Techi komme ich zu dem Punkt, wo Technik (nachgeordnet) in einen nachhaltigen Lebenszyklus integriert sein muss.
Ein aggressiver, linker #Troll auf meinem Blog hat mich gerade wegen meines Engagements für die "offene Gesellschaft" nach #KarlPopper (1902 - 1994) und für den #Solarpunk als "Solarpopper" bezeichnet.

This is a new type of troll I am seeing used by on Meta / Facebook. Rather than "attack" someone, or attempt to argue whatever point to change people's minds. The individual makes it seem like everything against the status quo is hopeless, and it is best that we accept and make peace with the way things Trump / Russia wants them.

While it's not really a one to one comparison, this same account on Twitter had me blocking hundreds and hundreds of trolls, while here I don't remember a single troll.
On Twitter their algorithm would get this account exposed to more users, many were just trolls.
One example was a post comparing the Roger Stone sentence, to what Willie got. Lots of folks would reply that they didn't think Willie was a real person or the facts were not correct. So I would reply to them, with a link to our website https://justiceforwilliesimmons.org/ At which point many would resort to trolling me.
So while I believe people who say they have problems with trolls on mastodon that hasn't been my experience.

Yesterday I made a test, warned against this account with a hashtag of the name and a certain bird, and promptly got the #scam again. It's the sign that this paragon of a #troll factory or a narcissistic bot tinkerer hopping instances is not reacting randomly. Don't just block it, it's important to #report it so that it finally comes to an end. Don't click the links. If it's #scraping, a joke, or an attack on the Fediverse: a #fediblock would be fine! The phrase pattern could be filtered.
a lot of the #toxicIdealism you see on #mastodon in terms of "they're not perfect, so don't #vote" is the same as a russian #troll putting an american flag on their #twitter handle and goosing #kremlin narratives targeting #maga

@briankrebs We should #REPORT these accounts *before* blocking (whatever it may be). That's a protection for others because many accounts are already suspended. As they grow again rather quickly, they seem to be made with automation.

But, in understanding that it is a psyop campaign, we see there is something here worth fighting for, because it has an effect: it gave us our first internet #troll president, #Trump
So how can we turn social media to a force for good? And if we can't, how do we ameliorate it's destruction of our societies?
