The has definitely been superior for the 8-10yo piling-in with their random art project or sports equipment stuff out of the weather, and keeps the pilot rather nicely protected behind the canopy as well, plus a poncho on top if it's coming down hard.

This rain cover on the takes a long time to dry out. Besides the garage being cold, I'm wondering if I should treat it with rainx or something.

The blocking the wind and rain from getting on the front of your pants, toes, knees, 💯 though, plus a poncho and it's pretty nice in there, if you get cold just let off the throttle, and on the way home it was just fog so I shed the poncho, jacket, and a layer of hat, down to just a thin wool shirt, but I couldn't get the blood to go to my toes at any cadence.

Riding the 2014 bbs02 more often lately, thinking maybe I should get a motor for the rear of it, possibly a new bigger battery and update some parts. It's just such a dependable old truck but the rear is a little flexible when youngest+spouse are both on it. 11yo prefers the / & 13yo is too heavy to not be pedaling so we end up on the tandem more. Crowded in the garage though

@seachanger heat dissipation is an issue, and most solar cells + wiring will wear out faster with repeated flexing. One fatigued bit of metal breaks among many, ruins the whole thing. I'm trying to come up with something for the roof panel, that backing needs to be light and stiff, and I'm thinking you might want to remove / adjust it to optimally charge while the rest is parked in the shade. Most charging would not be while riding, unless I had a solar hat and cloak for myself

A7 @ascentale @esnyder my favorite wet-weather riding accessory is a with front bucket and canopy cover, plus the poncho, maybe some pogies/barmitts, and you are not getting any water from the front or above, only sideways wind and puddles might get your shoes wet if you put a foot down. I take fenders and mudflaps for granted but you may need to add them to many bikes. A front rack + basket + waterproof bag might make a similar rain shadow/fairing.
